The Detective

Detective Graves is a detective operating from a detective office near the town center of Drift Bay. Originally from the mainland, he arrived on the island only recently. Following a rise in criminal activity across Drift Bay, a public poll was held among the citizens to determine who should represent the island in matters of law and order. The vote fell decisively in favor of Graves. Shortly thereafter, he was assigned his office near the town center, where he receives citizens with information, concerns, or matters best discussed in confidence.

His appointment is considered notable, as the citizens of Drift Bay are not known for placing their trust in outsiders. Why they did so in this case remains a subject of quiet speculation.

Graves plays a leading role in confronting the criminal element on the island. His investigations are followed closely by the citizens, and his findings will soon be reported through the Fogpoint Radio broadcasting signal.

Little is known of Graves's life before his arrival on Drift Bay. He does not speak of the mainland, and no records concerning his past have surfaced on the island yet.
